Kamugi Japanese Steakhouse is our family's choice for everything from birthdays to celebrations of any kind. My teenage daughter has chosen it for birthday dinner two years in a row! Everyone who works there is lovely and fun, and the food is amazing. We will definitely continue to keep it at the top of our list!

I have been a customer of kamugi for a few years now. Every experience at this resteraunt has been nothing less of phenomenal. The service is quick, the waiters and chef's are always friendly. This is (by far) my favorite japanese resteraunt in the virginia beach area. The sushi has always been amazing. My favorite dish would be the fried rice hibachi with chicken and steak. Best hibachi i have experienced. Keep up the good work june!!

Best hibachi in the Virginia Beach area. The lychee martini was delicious. The hibachi portions are huge! The sushi was ok. The seating is pretty tight which made it a little uncomfortable to eat with a full table.

The owner and JJ were so welcoming and on point with their customer service. I ordered the crab & shrimp special roll and a side order of noodles & it hit the spot!! I’ll be returning soon for sure.

This was my family's first time visiting (for my grandson's birthday). It was great watching the cook fire up the skillet and prepare our meals right before us. He was so professional and has a very sweet and pleasant spirit/attitude. The food was absolutely delicious! We got nice portions and had some to take home. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is conducive for great company and fellowship. I really enjoyed our visit and would love to return. ❤️
